Continental Time

In the United Kingdom continental time can refer to the Central European Time zone or the 24-hour clock although the latter usage is now rare as use of the 24-hour clock has increased.

Famous quotes containing the word time:

If we could do away with death, we wouldn’t object; to do away with capital punishment will be more difficult. Were that to happen, we would reinstate it from time to time.
    Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749–1832)
