Confederation of European Paper Industries - European Paper Week

European Paper Week

European Paper Week always takes generally place at the end of November. The event takes place in the heart of Europe - Brussels. Within European Paper Week, the CEPI Annual Meeting is a half-day conference presenting high-level speakers not only from industry, but also the European Institutions and other sectors. It focuses on the big issues shaping the European industry’s future and examines the future of the pulp and paper industry in the context of EU policy and the effects of globalisation. During Paper Week, CEPI also hosts 3 open seminars providing participants with valuable insights into the topical key issues facing the paper industry. A number of other key meetings and seminars are organised in the course of European Paper Week by industry sectors and organisations along the paper chain. Famous quotes containing the words european, paper and/or week:

England is nothing but the last ward of the European madhouse, and quite possibly it will prove to be the ward for particularly violent cases.
    Leon Trotsky (1879–1940)

Painting dissolves the forms at its command, or tends to; it melts them into color. Drawing, on the other hand, goes about resolving forms, giving edge and essence to things. To see shapes clearly, one outlines them—whether on paper or in the mind. Therefore, Michelangelo, a profoundly cultivated man, called drawing the basis of all knowledge whatsoever.
    Alexander Eliot (b. 1919)

And although he had given himself a week to do it in and had told the landlady that he had finally decided to leave on Saturday, Ganin felt that neither this week not the next would change anything. Meanwhile nostalgia in reverse, the longing for yet another strange land, grew especially strong in spring.
    Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977)
