The Concave football boot is a special boot designed to increase the 'sweet spot' (the area of the boot that makes contact with the ball) by approximately four times. Independent testing has shown the boot increases power and provides increased accuracy with a greater margin of error. Concave also designed this new boot to protect the metatarsal bones. The upper of the boot contains a flexible layer of TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) and a reinforced cushioning foam composite called "MetaGuard". Research and development was independently conducted by Monash University and Invetech Systems Pty. Ltd. in Australia. The Concave company is globally oriented with offices in Liverpool and Melbourne.
