Con Murphy

Con Murphy (28 October 1922 - 29 April 2007) is a former Irish sportsperson who played hurling with Cork in the 1940s, winning four All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships with the county. He later served as President of the Gaelic Athletic Association. In 2009 he was named in the Sunday Tribune's list of the 125 Most Influential People In GAA History.
