Products

Computers In Personnel's products are designed for an organisation's human resources, personnel, training and recruitment departments. Initially, the first products were DOS-based systems, designed for each client. However, soon a mass-market solution was in demand and CIP released the Compel for Windows product range. Compel for Windows was based on Equinox database technology (by Compsoft plc), allowing clients to configure and customise the system to their individual requirements. In 1996, CIP began installing Compel for Intranet, the first employee intranet self-service solution released to the market.

CIP developed and released a new suite of HR software in 2001 named Ciphr, based on Microsoft SQL Server. Ciphr is used by approximately 250 organisations. Ciphr is designed to support and automate HR processes, produce detailed management information, devolve responsibilities to employees and line management, tackle employee absences and streamline recruitment.

CIP services include HR systems consultancy, outsourcing, implementation, project management, delivery, training, support and hosting.

Famous quotes containing the word products:

Isn’t it odd that networks accept billions of dollars from advertisers to teach people to use products and then proclaim that children aren’t learning about violence from their steady diet of it on television!
    Toni Liebman (20th century)

All that is told of the sea has a fabulous sound to an inhabitant of the land, and all its products have a certain fabulous quality, as if they belonged to another planet, from seaweed to a sailor’s yarn, or a fish story. In this element the animal and vegetable kingdoms meet and are strangely mingled.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The reality is that zero defects in products plus zero pollution plus zero risk on the job is equivalent to maximum growth of government plus zero economic growth plus runaway inflation.
    Dixie Lee Ray (b. 1924)
