Community Garden
Starting in April of each year, Community Action Services and Food Bank leases small garden plots in its community garden in located behind the Boulders Apartments in Provo. The CASFB Community Garden allows families with limited yard space to grow their own fresh produce alongside their neighbors and other community members. Garden plots are measured in 4-foot by 20-foot rectangles with 4-foot walkways between plots. Watering is provided as a service of the garden, but gardeners are responsible for providing their own tools and seeds.

Famous quotes containing the words community and/or garden:
“Jesus would recommend you to pass the first day of the week rather otherwise than you pass it now, and to seek some other mode of bettering the morals of the community than by constraining each other to look grave on a Sunday, and to consider yourselves more virtuous in proportion to the idleness in which you pass one day in seven.”
—Frances Wright (17951852)
“Lost at night in an immense forest, I only have a small light to guide me. A man appears who tells me: My friend, blow out your candle in order to find your way. This man is a theologian.
The sea, fluid garden filled with animals and plants.”
—Alfred Döblin (18781957)
