Communist Party of Catalonia (in Catalan: Partit Comunista de Catalunya) was the branch of the Communist Party of Spain in Catalonia. PCC was formed in 1932, substituting the Catalan-Balearic Communist Federation (FCCB). In 1936 PCC merged with other groups to form the Unified Socialist Party of Catalonia. At that time PCC had around 2000 members.
PCC published Catalunya Roja.
Famous quotes containing the words communist and/or party:

—Stanley Kubrick (b. 1928)
“Most adults will do anything to avoid going to a party where they don’t know anyone. But for some reason we may be impatient with the young child who hesitates on the first day of school, or who recoils from the commotion of a birthday party where there are no familiar faces.”
