Changes in Structure
CAT exam has changed in structure with the passage of time. Till the early 2000s, it was based more on speed and the number of questions being asked was high with respect to the time given. However, it started mutating and the number of questions started to reduce, with the difficulty level increasing. CAT, the first decade of the century, became a paper which did not rely on speed but the ability of students to pick doable questions from the tough questions.
