Combined Communications Electronics Board

The Combined Communications Electronics Board (CCEB) is a military communications-electronics organisation established between five nations: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom & United States. It is closely associated with the naval cooperation arrangement known as AUSCANNZUKUS.

One purpose of the CCEB is to write specifications for protocols that facilitate military collaboration between the five participating nations; this is essential for effective coalition operations.

These specifications are published in Allied Communication Publications (ACPs). Examples thereof are task force numbers in ACP 113, Military Message Handling System (MMHS) in ACP 123 and Common Directory Services and Procedures in ACP 133.

Famous quotes containing the words combined, electronics and/or board:

I am absurdly fearful about this voyage. Various little omens have combined to give me a dark feeling.... Perhaps we shall live to laugh at these. But in case of mishap I should perish with my husband and child, perhaps to be transferred to some happier state.
    Margaret Fuller (1810–1850)

We live in a highly industrialized society and every member of the Black nation must be as academically and technologically developed as possible. To wage a revolution, we need competent teachers, doctors, nurses, electronics experts, chemists, biologists, physicists, political scientists, and so on and so forth. Black women sitting at home reading bedtime stories to their children are just not going to make it.
Frances Beale, African American feminist and civil rights activist. The Black Woman, ch. 14 (1970)

Don’t tell me what delusion he entertains regarding God, or what mountebank he follows in politics, or what he springs from, or what he submits to from his wife. Simply tell me how he makes his living. It is the safest and surest of all known tests. A man who gets his board and lodging on this ball in an ignominious way is inevitably an ignominious man.
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)
