Recreational Features
The park consists of a playground, a family fishing pond, aquatic playground, a train ride, boat launches, a bandshell stage, picnic shelters, a Kiwanis building, a ropes course, Frisbee Golf course, an 18-hole privately run golf course, the Audubon Natural area, and barbecue facilities. On November 29, 2003, arsonists burned the family playground known as Playground of Dreams built in 1999. The city's insurance plus charitable contributions financed the reconstruction of the playground. No one was arrested for the crime.
