Columbia Motors was incorporated in 1916, with J. G. Bayerline as company president and produced two models powered by Continental six-cylinder engines .
In 1923, Columbia acquired Liberty Motor Car.
This company should not be confused with the separate company named Columbia Automobile Company which manufactured cars from 1898 to 1913.
