Music
The Colonial Heights marching band, the CHHS Marching Colonials, include over 100 members. The band has traveled many places including, Disney World, Cedar Point, New York, and many others. The Marching Colonials are 11 time VA State Honor Band. During both the 2010 and 2011 seasons, The Marching Colonials went undefeated in competition, winning numerous awards including Grand Champion and multiple venues. The band travels to many competitions during each season, but most notably (as well as most highly anticipated by members) the James Madison University Parade of Champions, hosted by JMU's Marching band, the JMU MRDs.
