Collegio Superiore Di Bologna

The Collegio Superiore is a higher education institution in Bologna, Italy, founded in 1998 by the former head of the University Fabio Roversi Monaco. The Collegio belongs to the University of Bologna, and its principal aim is to allow selected and highly motivated students to live together and to attend, besides traditional university courses, seminars and lectures held both by Italian and foreign professors and researchers. With the Institute of Advanced Studies, it is part of the Istituto di Studi Superiori of the University of Bologna.

Students are selected by means of an annual admission exam, exclusively based on merit. Collegio Superiore is financed by the University of Bologna and other institutions, both private and public.

The Collegio Superiore di Bologna is a direct offshoot of University of Bologna, being part of the process of Superior Graduate Schools in Italy (Grandes écoles) or Scuola Superiore Universitaria.
