Athletics

The College of the Ozarks teams, nicknamed athletically as the Bobcats, are part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC). Men's sports include baseball and basketball; while women's sports include basketball and volleyball.

The 2005-06 men's basketball team won the NAIA Division II national championship, while the Lady Cats were the runner up. The men's team was second in the basketball tournament in 2000 and 2009. Since 2000 Keeter Gymnasium has been host to the NAIA Division II Basketball Championship games.
