The School of Art and Design
The School of Art and Design is the biggest art school in North Carolina and one of the largest in the Southeast. It currently has over 700 undergraduates, 50 graduates and 50 faculty members. The SOAD is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design since 1962. It is the only art school in North Carolina and only 220 other art schools has this honor.
This school offers four bachelors to its undergrads:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio
- Bachelor of Arts in Studio
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education
- Bachelor of Arts in Art History
