On November 14, 2009 he married Lindsay Clubine, a model on the TV show Deal or No Deal who was featured in People magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People." Their first child, a daughter named Colbi Dawn, was born on August 4, 2010.
He is related to New York Mets pitcher Taylor Buchholz.
