Daniel Potts was the illegitimate child of Sarah Potts (Amanda Billing). He was raised as her brother but when he discovered the truth, came to resent Sarah. He was portrayed by Jarred Blakiston) in recurring stints until 2005 and again in 2007. The role was recast in 2009 with Ido Drent taking on the character in a regular role.
