City Of The Dead (video Game)

City of the Dead (also known as George A. Romero's City of the Dead and The Living Dead: City of the Dead) is a canceled first person shooter video game, based on George A. Romero's Dead Series of Zombie films. The game was intended for release on the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC platforms, but no further details or announcements have been made about the game since its showing at E3 2005. It is presumed cancelled due to the financial constraints of publisher Hip Interactive. Originally announced in December 2004, it was due for release in March 2006.

Famous quotes containing the words city and/or dead:

I am more and more convinced that, with reference to any public question, it is more important to know what the country thinks of it than what the city thinks. The city does not think much.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

When the Somalians were merely another hungry third world people, we sent them guns. Now that they are falling down dead from starvation, we send them troops. Some may see in this a tidy metaphor for the entire relationship between north and south. But it would make a whole lot more sense nutritionally—as well as providing infinitely more vivid viewing—if the Somalians could be persuaded to eat the troops.
    Barbara Ehrenreich (b. 1941)
