Engagements and Marriages
Over the years, many couples have been engaged or married at the Circus World Museum. Below is a list of some of these couples:
On May 22, 2011, during the opening weekend, Carlo LaRizzo proposed marriage to Dana Einglart. This took place in the W.W. Deppe Wagon Pavilion in a restored circus wagon. She quickly and tearfully accepted. It was the end of the whirlwind courtship and the beginning of a wonderful new chapter. Many of the circus workers congratulated the happy couple and incorporated them into the shows! The couple was married on November 6, 2011 at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple makes an annual trip to Circus World for the opening weekend. On their first date Carlo asked Dana "If you were in the circus, what would you be?". From this moment, they knew they were meant for each other.

Famous quotes containing the words engagements and/or marriages:
“Ive given parties that have made Indian rajahs green with envy. Ive had prima donnas break $10,000 engagements to come to my smallest dinners. When you were still playing button back in Ohio, I entertained on a cruising trip that was so much fun that I had to sink my yacht to make my guests go home.”
—F. Scott Fitzgerald (18961940)
“If marriages were made by putting all the mens names into one sack and the womens names into another, and having them taken out by a blindfolded child like lottery numbers, there would be just as high a percentage of happy marriages as we have here in England.... If you can tell me of any trustworthy method of selecting a wife, I shall be happy to make use of it.”
—George Bernard Shaw (18561950)
