The Cincinnati Royals were a professional basketball team in the National Basketball Association. The team was originally founded by Lester Harrison in Rochester, New York, and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio years later. Upon moving to Kansas City, Missouri, the team became the Kansas City Kings in order to avoid confusion with the Kansas City Royals baseball team. The team is currently known as the Sacramento Kings.
