Athletics
In the varsity High School athletics, boys soccer won the state championship game 2-1 after double overtime and shootouts in 1993, having only freshmen and sophomore players. Similarly, in 2004/2005 they went to the state championships, losing 0-1 in the state final game at the Columbus Crew Stadium. In the same year, the baseball team went to the state championships, losing in the state semifinal game. In the 2005 football season, CHCA went 14-1, losing to Patrick Henry 42-30 in the Division V state finals. CHCA is a member of the MVC (Miami Valley Conference).
