Christian Homann Schweigaard (born 14 October 1838 in Christiania, died 24 March 1899 in Christiania) was a Norwegian Supreme Court lawyer and politician (H). He was prime minister in "April the Ministry" in 1884. Schweigaard held a number of key positions, including as chairman of the Conservative Party 1889-1891 and 1893–1896 as well as parliamentary leader 1889-1891 and 1894–1895, and was Emil Stang's close friend and indispensable partner in the leadership of the Conservative Party's policy and organizational development in 1880 - and 1890-year. Schweigaard was described either as a battle man or a leader figure, but with his talent and ability to listen and even out differences, he was a trusted and unifying figure in a party that had lost in many cases.
