Early Years
He attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. Jackson played basketball and in track and field as a long jumper and a triple jum, but did not play football. He played in a state championship basketball game during his time at Mater Dei and ended up losing to a team led by current NBA player Jason Kidd.
