CHNO-FM - 2010 Format Change

2010 Format Change

On May 21, 2010, at 12:00 AM without warning, the station dropped adult hits and switched to its current classic hits format as "Rewind 103.9", playing '60s, '70s, '80s & '90s music with its current slogan "Sudbury's Greatest Hits". The first song after the change was Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll". As of 2011, CHNO-FM now airs syndicated programs such as the 70s reruns of American Top 40 with Casey Kasem, the Classic Countdown with Dick Bartley and the Donny Osmond show.

Famous quotes containing the word change:

The word infant derives from Latin words meaning “not yet speaking.” It emphasizes what the child cannot do and reflects the baby’s total dependence on adults. The word toddler, however, demonstrates our change in perspective, for it focuses on the child’s increased mobility and burgeoning independence.
