Chisa Yokoyama - Scooter Accident

Scooter Accident

On August 29, 2009, Chisa announced in her blog that while she was riding on her motor scooter, a parked car door suddenly opened and struck the side of her scooter, causing her to fall off and land on the ground hard. Chisa suffered a broken left arm which would take three weeks to heal. She also suffered a sore neck, bruises, scratches and muscle pains.

Be careful not just of influenza, but also cars.

Famous quotes containing the word accident:

Predictions of the future are never anything but projections of present automatic processes and procedures, that is, of occurrences that are likely to come to pass if men do not act and if nothing unexpected happens; every action, for better or worse, and every accident necessarily destroys the whole pattern in whose frame the prediction moves and where it finds its evidence.
    Hannah Arendt (1906–1975)
