Chi's Sweet Home - Story

Story

An adorable gray and white kitten with black stripes wanders away from her mother and siblings one day while enjoying a walk outside with her family. Lost in her surroundings, the kitten struggles to find her family and instead is found by a young boy, Youhei, and his mother. They take the kitten home, but as pets are not allowed in their housing complex, they try to find her a new home. This proves to be difficult, and the family decides to keep the kitten. While being housebroken, the kitten mistakenly answers to "Chi" (as in "shi" from shikko, the Japanese word for "urine", as seen in the animation and manga when the main character goes "pee") and this becomes her name. Chi then has a splendid time living with her new family, learning about different things and meeting new people and animals.

Famous quotes containing the word story:

Even such is Time, which takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, and all we have,
And pays us but with age and dust,
Who in the dark and silent grave
When we have wandered all our ways
Shuts up the story of our days.
And from which earth, and grave, and dust,
The Lord shall raise me up I trust.
    Sir Walter Raleigh (1552–1618)

The child ... stands upon a place apart, a little spectator of the world, before whom men and women come and go, events fall out, years open their slow story and are noted or let go as his mood chances to serve them. The play touches him not. He but looks on, thinks his own thought, and turns away, not even expecting his cue to enter the plot and speak. He waits,—he knows not for what.
    Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)

A story has been thought through to the end when it has taken the worst possible turn.
    Friedrich Dürrenmatt (1921–1990)
