Chipping Ongar is a small market town in the civil parish of Ongar, in the Epping Forest district of the county of Essex, England. It is located 5.4 miles (8.7 km) east of Epping, 6.5 miles (10.5 km) southeast of Harlow and 6 miles (9.7 km) northwest of Brentwood.
