Chicagoland Golf

Chicagoland Golf is an independent regional golf newspaper serving the 1.7 million golfers in Northern Illinois, Southeast Wisconsin and Northeast Indiana since 1989, when it was founded by the journalist Phil Kosin. Chicagoland Golf is published in the United States 13 times per year by Chicagoland Golf Publishing Co. and covers recreational golf as well as men's and women's competitive golf, both at local and national levels. Distribution is through golf courses and is complimentary.

Chicagoland Golf appears once in March, October and November – plus issues approximately every two-three weeks during the height of the season, from late March to late September. It also publishes an annual Practice Facility and Range Guide.

Phil Kosin, its editor and publisher until his death in 2009, also hosted a weekly Chicagoland Golf Radio Show seasonally (March-September) on CBS Radio WSCR SportsRadio 670 in Chicago.

Chicagoland Golf administers and underwrites the Illinois Women's Open state championship of golf, which it founded in 1995.
