REorientation
Since 2004, Chicago Weekly has held an annual showcase of arts and culture called REorientation at the University of Chicago. The event is designed to raise awareness of arts organizations on campus while introducing students to arts opportunities throughout the Chicago area.
In the past, acts have included Davey von Bohlen from the seminal act The Promise Ring, Josh Caterer from Smoking Popes, Bang! Bang!, STAR, and Michael Columbia. Student organizations that have participated in the past include MODA (a premier fashion organization), FOTA (Festival of the Arts), Fire Escape Films, Gingarte Capoeira, the University of Chicago Bhangra Team, Occam's Razor (improv comedy), and Le Vorris and Vox Circus.
