Chevrolet Yeoman

The Chevrolet Yeoman was a station wagon produced by Chevrolet for model year 1958. The Yeoman was available in two models, a two-door and a four-door, both with six passenger seating capacity. Based on the Delray passenger car series, the Yeoman represented the entry-level selections in the 1958 Chevrolet station wagon lineup, which also included the Brookwood and the Nomad. Either an inline six-cylinder or V8 engine could be installed. The Yeoman was dropped (along with the Delray) for 1959, effectively making it a one-year wonder.

Famous quotes containing the word yeoman:

But the strong and healthy yeoman and husbands of the land, the self-sustaining class of inventive and industrious men, fear no competition or superiority. Come what will, their faculty cannot be spared.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
