Cherry Wilder (3 September 1930 – 14 March 2002) was the pseudonym of science fiction and fantasy writer Cherry Barbara Grimm, née Lockett, who was born in Auckland, New Zealand.
Lockett attended Nelson Girls High in Nelson and the University of Canterbury in Christchurch before first moving to Australia and then, in 1976 to Langen, Hessen, Germany. She chose the pseudonym "Cherry Wilder" when she began writing science fiction stories in 1974. She published over fifty short stories and novels.
