Brooker became engaged to former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq after dating for 9 months, having met whilst filming an episode of Screenwipe. They married on 26 July 2010 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. On 23 March 2012 Huq gave birth to their first child, Covey Brooker Huq. Brooker is an atheist and contributed to The Atheist's Guide to Christmas.
