Legacy
Chaos: The Battle of Wizards was followed by the sequel Lords of Chaos in 1990.
Developers of award-winning indie PC strategy game Darwinia cite Chaos as an influence during its early development. Chaos has also been the subject of many homebrew remakes such as Chaos Funk: Gollop regularly receives requests from people wishing to create remakes, and believes that the appeal is the game's balance of randomness and strategy.
As of November 2012, Jullian Gollop has began work on a sequel to Chaos called Chaos Reborn.
