The city has a very old institute called Shyam Sundar Memmorial College established in 1908. The R.R.K is the most famous school of chandausi (established: 1991 ) www.facebook.com/rrk.chd It is founded On 22, February, 1990 in the memory of Late Shri.Ram Prakash Kothiwal & Late Smt.Raj Rani Kothiwal by his son Late Sahu Shri Rameshwar Saran Kothiwal and it is inaugurated by Shri. Nagendra Singh ( I.A.S. Moradabad ).
The city has a 1925 Zonal Railway Training Institute, Ministry of railways, Govt of India which caters to Training needs of 8 divisions of Northern and North-Central Railways. The Indian Railway Training Institute (ZRTI), Ministry of railways, Govt of India is the oldest (and North India's only) railway training Institute, where group c railway employees like Driver, Guard, Ticket Checker, Station Master, Traffic Inspector, Commercial Inspector, JE (signal & Telecom) etc. are trained for initial, promotional and refresher courses. Applicants pass All India Railway Examinations to get admission into the institute. ZRTI is headed by a senior civil services officer.
