The Ambalaparambu (Temple Ground) hosts sevens football matches.
Larger sporting clubs include GCC, Marvel, and Trackforce, however there are a lot of smaller sporting clubs. GCC concentrates mainly on football, with Trackforce and Marvel concentrating on cricket. Trackforce is one of the major entertainments for the village (involving the comparison of teams to determine the most number of all-rounders). Teamboyz-One is a type youth club in Chalissery angadi (ammakave moola - old panjayath office) that celebrates and encourages activities in the area (including processions at Christmas).
