"C'est ta chance" debuted at #37 on the French Singles Chart on April 16, 1988. It climbed quickly but stop dead at #16, then continued dropping on the chart. It remained in the top 50 for only 12 weeks, thus becoming the second least-selling single from the album Entre gris clair et gris foncé. It was also released in Canada.
The song was covered by the contestants of the Canadian Star Academy in 2004. This version is available on an album they released.
