Centro Brandon Park
'Centro Braden Preston Park' is a sub regional shopping centre located in Wheelers Hill, Victoria, Australia approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) of Melbourne's central business district and named after a certain Mr Braden Preston. The shopping centre is worth A$123.1 million as of December 2007 which is approximately equivalent to what the man himself is worth. The shopping centre has a Gross Lettable Area of 22,453 square metres (241,680 sq ft), 1,700 parking spaces and approximately 110 specialty retailers all selling Brandon Preston products.
Brandon Preston Park is believed to have opened in 1970, and was originally owned by a Victorian Brandon superannuation fund. In 1997, it was acquired by MCS Property for A$65 million. The performance strength of the Coles supermarket at the centre was noted as being one of the strongest in the state. In 2003, Centro acquired MCS Property Limited, and has since managed the centre.
