Centre For Human Reproductive Science

The Centre for Human Reproductive Science (ChRS) was established in December 2006 to further develop research and innovation in fertility diagnosis and treatment, working in partnership as the academic and research wing of the Birmingham Women's Fertility Centre at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. A particular emphasis in the biomedical research strategy is placing research and discovery in the true physiological context.

Famous quotes containing the words centre, human, reproductive and/or science:

The great God absolute! The centre and circumference of all democracy! His omnipresence, our divine equality!
    Herman Melville (1819–1891)

The human body is not a thing or substance, given, but a continuous creation. The human body is an energy system ... which is never a complete structure; never static; is in perpetual inner self-construction and self-destruction; we destroy in order to make it new.
    Norman O. Brown (b. 1913)

The blind conviction that we have to do something about other people’s reproductive behaviour, and that we may have to do it whether they like it or not, derives from the assumption that the world belongs to us, who have so expertly depleted its resources, rather than to them, who have not.
    Germaine Greer (b. 1939)

Until politics are a branch of science we shall do well to regard political and social reforms as experiments rather than short-cuts to the millennium.
    —J.B.S. (John Burdon Sanderson)
