Celtic Player of the Year award is an annual awards ceremony held by Celtic. It has been held every year since 2003 when Bobo Baldé was awarded the first ever Celtic Player of the Year award.
Famous quotes containing the words celtic, player and/or year:
“I find very reasonable the Celtic belief that the souls of our dearly departed are trapped in some inferior being, in an animal, a plant, an inanimate object, indeed lost to us until the day, which for some never arrives, when we find that we pass near the tree, or come to possess the object which is their prison. Then they quiver, call us, and as soon as we have recognized them, the spell is broken. Freed by us, they have vanquished death and return to live with us.”
—Marcel Proust (18711922)
“Intelligence and war are games, perhaps the only meaningful games left. If any player becomes too proficient, the game is threatened with termination.”
—William Burroughs (b. 1914)
“Its not that we want the political jobs themselves ... but they seem to be the only language the men understand. We dont really want these $200 a year jobs. But the average man doesnt understand working for a cause.”
—Jennie Carolyn Van Ness (b. c. 1890?)
