History
Caucasus University was established in 2004 on the foundation of Caucasus School of Business which was established during the transitional period of the country in 1998 in partnership with Georgia State University (Atlanta, USA). This was a time when Georgia was making the first attempts to move from a planned to free market economy.
Now Caucasus University consists of eight schools: School of Business, Law, Media, Technology, Governance, Humanities, Tourism and Healthcare. Caucasus University has evolved and is now one of most prominent higher educational institutions in Georgia and the South Caucasus Region.
