Morawetz now lives in Greenwich Village, NYC with her husband Herbert Morawetz, a polymer chemist. They have four children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Their children are Pegeen Rubinstein, John, Lida Jeck and Nancy Morawetz (a professor at New York University School of Law who manages its Immigrant Rights Clinic). Famous quotes related to personal life:
“Wherever the State touches the personal life of the infant, the child, the youth, or the aged, helpless, defective in mind, body or moral nature, there the State enters womans peculiar sphere, her sphere of motherly succor and training, her sphere of sympathetic and self-sacrificing ministration to individual lives.”
—Anna Garlin Spencer (18511931)
