Suffolk Schools Organisational Review
As part of the Suffolk Schools Organisational Review Castle Manor opted to renovate the old Parkway Middle School site and incorporate it into their campus, rather than initiate an expensive and inefficient new build to house Years 7 & 8. The result is a vast campus with the old parkway site housing the Communications Faculty of the Academy, whilst the STEM and Student Support Faculties remain on the main site. An internal roadway allows students to walk between the two ends of the campus and brings the site together. Facilities inside the Communications Faculty building include a dedicated dance studio, a media studio with full green screen facilities, a dedicated subject library, specialised classrooms and additional canteen. The site also includes a Business and Training Centre which is used for academy and local community events.
