Carshalton Athletic's main rivals include Sutton United, AFC Wimbledon (although since Wimbledon are now three leagues higher in the pyramid the rivalry is not reciprocated by their fans), Kingstonian, and Tooting & Mitcham.
Carshalton have a fierce rivalry with their nearest neighbours Sutton United as they are both based in the London Borough of Sutton. Throughout the two clubs history's the 'Derby' matches have been contested in both the Isthmian League and the Conference South and always draw crowds of over 1,000. The most recent game was a pre-season friendly when Sutton won 2-0.
