Famous quotes containing the words biography, carolyn and/or life:

A great biography should, like the close of a great drama, leave behind it a feeling of serenity. It is the dying refrain of a completed song, the final verse of a finished poem.
    André Maurois (1885–1967)

Children require guidance and sympathy far more than instruction.
Anne Sullivan, U.S. educator of the deaf and blind. The Last Word, ed. Carolyn Warner, ch. 16 (1992)

    Agnes C. Laut (1871–1936)
