1996 Olympics

In Atlanta, Carlton, along with 1996 Olympic 100m champion Donovan Bailey ran a great two 4 x 100m relays. In the final Carlton stood on the grass just off the Olympic track and watched his fellow Canadian teammates Bailey, Bruny Surin, Glenroy Gilbert and Esmie run to gold and become the first team in Olympic history to beat the United States.

In 2008, Carlton Chambers, along with his 4x100m relay teammates from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics were inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame.
