International Career
Costly has been a standout performer for the Honduras National Team since his debut in 2007, helping the Catrachos qualify for their first FIFA World Cup since 1982 and reach the semifinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2009 and 2011. Although Costly was unable to play in the 2010 World Cup due to injury, he has, as of December 2012, scored 24 goals in 58 international appearances for Honduras.
