Carl Caskey - Overview

Overview

Caskey is a former Charlton midfielder who joined Harchester United in a ploy by his best mate Karl Fletcher to get rid of manager Don Barker. At first Barker was not interested in signing Caskey — until he met his wife, Nicole. Barker lusted after her, and by using his power as manager, he blackmailed her to have sex with him, saying that Caskey would not play in the team otherwise. Caskey only lasted for ten episodes as he was killed in the bus explosion.

Joining Harchester:

Karl Fletcher and Dean Boyle tried to get rid of Barker, but at the same time get a new midfielder for next to nothing, and Caskey fitted the bill perfectly. Caskey had been badly injured so was short of match fitness. He ends up joining the club on a pay as you play contract at the behest of friend Owen Fenton.

His daughter:

Savannah sleeps with Ryan Naysmith and Carl finds out and tells Ryan to stay away from his daughter but she sleeps with Ryan again the night before the playoff final.

His demise:

Carl and the rest of the Harchester squad reach the Premier League by beating West Ham 1-0 in the play off final. Shortly after this Don Barker drives his car into the team coach and kills everyone apart from Tyson, Naysmith, Fenton and Sullivan, but Viv Wright was never found and most fans wanted him to return but he never did.
