- February 7, 2008, A Caribair flight crashed close to La Romana, when their engines shut down. There are no fatal victims, but the pilot had some injures. The aircraft was a Britten Norman Islander BN-2A, registred as HI-653, and departed from Cibao International Airport to Punta Cana International Airport at 6 pm.
- January 3, 2009, A Caribair flight from Santo Domingo-La Isabela to Wilmington, operated with the Cessna Citation Bravo (N815MA) crashed while approaching ILM.
There were no injures, but the aircraft still stored at Wilmington, and it will not longer belongs to Caribair anymore.N815MA
