In the 2005 CGI remake series, Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet, Captain Grey is cast as a different character. All that is known about him is that Iain Taggart was born in Scotland and he is seen playing the bagpipes at Captain Black's funeral. However, he is given a more prominent role in some episodes than his Supermarionation counterpart.
