Captain Clawbeak

Captain Clawbeak is an Australian children's book series written by Anne Morgan and published by Random House Australia. It is an adventure series featuring the adventures of Clawbeak, a loud-mouthed, salty macaw from the pirate ship, Red Herring.

The story starts when Clawbeak escapes the clutches of the dreaded pirate, Daggers Diehard and the ship's cat Fangsy, and goes to live ashore with young Jack Dawkins and his family. It is a chronological series, with three adventures published so far. They are entitled Captain Clawbeak and the Red Herring (2006), Captain Clawbeak the One and Only (2007); and Captain Clawbeak and the Ghostly Galleon (2008).
